London Photoblock Gallery Trip

As a class we will be visiting The Truman Brewery in London to look at the Photo Block photography exhibition. The exhibition will host lots of work and projects made by different associations such as the British Press Photographers Association (BPPA), Royal Photographic Society (RPS) and The Association of Photographers (AOP).

Overall the trip allowed us to see some mesmerising pictures taken by photographers based all over the world. However, at the same time a large amount of the photography was local to the gallery as they had smaller exhibitions held in same venue where images were taken by London-based artists. As there were lots of different photographers work being shown, the type of pictures being exhibited was vast. There was portrait, landscape, street and photos taken from tragic or big events we all see on the news, so there was lots to take inspiration from. Asides from walking and looking around the gallery we also had free time to make our own way around London snapping photos of our own. The aesthetics of the city are magnificent so I was very happy with the shots I took. The images are in my book.
