Chris Lucas Talk

17/10/18 - Chris lukas is a local photographer to where I'm based. He specialises in music and fashion photography, but has worked on many other topics previously in the last 10 years, such as food and reportage photography. He mentioned he has a passion for music, making and sampling beats in his spare time, hence why he currently has an interest in music photography. Chris Lukas came in to chat to us about the current project we are in the process of (creating a short magazine on a topic of our choice), guiding us and suggesting ideas to help with our projects. As well as this, he gave us information on what his career has been like so far, giving us a small insight to what the photography industry is like to get into.

These are some shots I have picked out from his website that I find interesting, some are from his portraiture photography section and some from his reportage section. I think the colouring of the photographs is really subtle but strong and easy on the eye. I also find the last image showed of his here fascinating, I like the seclusion, how everybody is synchronised doing a similar thing.
